Went to the cemetery just behind my house yesterday, and it’s interesting to see the difference betweens graves. Some of them are as simple as just a cross in the ground, while others are so elaborate with ribbons and little houses that hold candles, lanterns, pictures, and a whole variety of different things. What I did really enjoy though were the ones that had beautiful gardens planted on top.

But what gets me is that I don’t find cemeteries as a spooky place, but ironically enough, a place of peace. I love walking around and seeing all the variety of different graves, names, and cultural differences of each resting place.

Please, when I die. I just want to be cremated, put in the ground, and possibly a tree planted on top of my ashes. That would be wonderful.

I’ve decided that I want to improve my drawing skills.

So I sat down this evening and did a little drawing.
